Weekend Teaser (Week 50)

12.12.2014

We have a lot of releases each week, so to keep you up-to-date we made this weekly overview showing exactly what we have coming up. See the overview below!

- Out on December 22

Giuseppe Ottaviani - Liverpool
With ‘Liverpool’ Giuseppe waves a fond farewell not just to 2014, but also to the last two ‘Magenta’-filled years, with a freight train of a track that out on the floor is conspicuously taking precisely zero prisoners! Front end, ‘Liverpool’ is all tightly coiled tech-trance bristle, with deep, stormy FX, hard-echo sonics and single-minded thrust. Break-side, Giuseppe eases the pressure, brings the strings and opens the track up to a more rapturous sign-off. Less rapture, more straight-up raptor, Standerwick’s Remix goes airborne inside the first minute! Recently named one of DJ Mag six to watch in trance over the coming year, the English producer lets rip with a broadside of synth bass and ballistics, the likes of which the floor may never fully recover from! Yang featuring Amy Kirkpatrick - Hearts At War
Making his first solo debut but not a unfamiliar name to AVA after his collaboration with Somna on Andy Moor’s “Breaking The Silence vol. 3” compilation is Yang who’s joined by singer/songwriter Amy Kirkpatrick from the band Data Romance. Working together to create the kind of emotional energy we love, the two have crafted a heartfelt musical composition talking about the constant struggles our hearts go through in the quest for love. With a beautifully rich production filled with soft and intricate melodies and warm low undertones, “Hearts At War” is a fantastic example of the kind of sustainable music we look for at AVA Recordings. On the flipside, Denver based producer Tangle makes his AVA debut with his energetic uplifting remix. Without losing the beauty of the original, Tangle weaves a more energetic and uplifting mix that has peak time written all over it. No stranger to quality with his consistent output on quality labels, it’s our pleasure to welcome Tangle and his peak time take on this release! - Out on December 29

Ryan Farish featuring Coury Palermo – Distance
Between the two of them Ryan Farish and Coury Palermo deliver a track that can with right be called unique. ‘Distance’ stays away from rough, hard hitting trance and instead starts off with a more soft and dream-like sound. Coury’s authentic vocals fit the music flawlessly and towards the end the music takes a slight turn towards being more suitable for the clubs. ‘Distance’ can’t be missing from your collection. Melvin & Klein - Where The Horns At!
DJ duo Melvin & Klein are going to delight the world with their very first release on the Endgame imprint. ‘Where The Horns At!’ is a more classic tech house tune, but with definitely an original twist and a warm sound. It’s perfect for owning the dance floor as well as just lounging back with your mates. Hear it for yourself! [Endgame]

AVA NuBreed EP
For AVA’s 97th release, we’re taking a look at some promising new talent with the first of many NuBreed EP’s to come. Making their debut and kicking the EP off is “Gateway” by Programmer & Jean Clemence. An energetic rollercoaster, the two craft a solid romper of a track. Jagged basslines and square leads litter the soundscape building towards a beautiful orchestral breakdown. Moody, cinematic and haunting, is what we would describe that breakdown before a memorable lead breaks the calm for a climax fitting to any peak time set. For the second track of the EP, we introduce Claus Backslash to AVA with his track Inception Phase. Another tech influenced energetic beast, Claus fills the sonic palette with big lead stabs and acids before a massive square lead main melody pierces through for a full throttle finish! It’s a pleasure to support some amazing new talent and both tracks prove that the future is bright in our scene!
