After two years of working on her first artist album Relentless, Sydney Blu presents to the world her musical creations, which together combine the sounds of tech house, techno and house. To be released on Black Hole Recordings on July 27, Relentless will feature 12 originals, and one remix, which are bound to take you through an underground vortex of euphoria.

Having released a few singles off the album such as My Neighbours Hate Me, VNDERGROUND, It Doesnt Matter, Need I Say More and Teardrop, there was an overwhelming positive response from industry leaders and media alike. Charting on DMC World Magazine’s Buzz Chart at #13 was Teardrop, while Need I Say More debuted at #18, and also hit it big on Beatport’s Tech House Chart at #17.

“I spent the past 2 years defining the sound I wanted to relay about myself to the world. This album is a great example of exactly that sound. It is also an example of the never ending, relentless passion I have to my work & art. This is Relentless. I hope people like it.” - Sydney Blu

Throughout the mixed album you’ll hear a stream of underground productions, with pummelling basslines, dreamy vocals, jaunty techno and groovy tech house. To kick off the album will be an official intro featuring deep house vocalist Cari Golden, who’s a legendary underground vocalist known for her recent work with Pan-Pot and Anja Schneider to name a few.

The first track of the album Whats Inside, brings a deep house element to Relentless with its slow sexy baseline and mesmerizing melody. Nothing To Hide sweeps in with its groovy baseline, quirky kick drums and lustrous vocals. Centipede is a tech house record offering its underlying effects and hi-hats throughout. Electric Era featuring Fritz Helder (Azari & III Vocalist) is a proper house track, which eludes classic underground vibes into the album. Munic

brings out the techno side of Relentless. You Were The One moves into a darker and more ominous sound. Maintaining a strong beat, this track encompasses more underground qualities, with a build up of synths, reverberating claps, and white noise accompanying the breakdowns. A simply tasteful vocal gives the track lyrical imagery.

Need I Say More starts right in with a sharp, and pumping kick beat, and classic clap to catch your attention right off the bat. Trailing in is a soulful vocal sample, that leads you into a strong and powerful bassline. The dominant vocals that are accompanied by the swelling bass, ride throughout the track right up to the end. My Neighbours Hate Me kicks off with a contagious tech-house energy, driving into a smooth bassline. It Doesnt Matter - resonates a true underground sound, as the drop falls into a techno frenzy at the breakdown. Teardrop - This euphoric record embodies old school progressive, combined with new age tech-house. With uplifting, dreamy vocals from Jamie Lee Wilson, Teardrop will lift you off to a place of nostalgia. VNDERGROUND - True tech house at its finest, Sydney Blu translates her craft throughout, as VNDERGROUND takes over with its immediate intro, which swirls into a vortex of a sense or urgency. Mad World - The track features a cover from the talented Rachael Starr of the timeless 1980's hit "Mad World" by Tears For Fears. Playing with a housey energetic beat, and a deep sexy groove. Little Things - With its percussion filled intro and clapping bassline, this record pulls you down the rabbit hole with its tantalizing energy.

Relentless showcases Sydney Blu’s true musical style, which originates from her roots in the Toronto underground music scene. Sydney Blu’s Relentless album will undoubtedly be relentless to dance floors worldwide.
