Magnetie is on a path to international clubland success. Having a constant slew of high quality dance releases through her imprint Insomnified Records, Foul Child is just the latest in sequence to typify her stadium filling hands-in-the-air type sound. Foul Child is an aggressive chord stabbed EDM number with a rapping sample stutter-stopping across a bass heavy groove. There is great balance between the groove and breakdown sections, and Magnetie has a solid grasp of dynamic range to allow both that high energy to carry out on the dance floor, whilst holding back when the breakdown approaches. A very educated sense of arrangement and juxtaposition is what gives this record life and individuality. This typifies the Magnetie sound and is a stellar release.
