Drawing on inspiration from their respective backgrounds, this duo creates a hyper-sexualized style of four-on-the-floor that’s heavily influenced by Chicago and Detroit’s underground society. The two live in the pounding cadence of ghetto house, with their multifaceted approach paying homage to the classic jacking sounds of house and techno while pioneering the future of it.

Originating in 2014, Gettoblaster quickly pushed their way towards the front of the underground thanks to their signature grooves. Their ingenuity restored the vintage themes of club music from the 80s and 90s and gave them a modern finesse. They were able to showcase this and the broad range of their artistry in 2015 with their debut LP Diamonds & Palm Trees. Not only did it show their aptitude for house rhythms, but the LP also brandished Gettoblaster’s knowledge of the definitive house footwork sound that has inspired their crate. With basslines that always drive the rhythm and lyrics that would make any matriarch blush, Diamonds & Palm Trees earned the respect of many industry greats - it’s no wonder Roger Sanchez named them as “ones to watch” shortly after the album was released.

December 2015 saw the launch of their record label We Jack. Curating a small but powerful catalogue from established players like Bad Boy Bill, DJ Deeon, and more, the imprint holds true to the jackin’ name whether the story is told through the shuffling snares of “Shawty Want That Cake,” the clap-driven “I Need Weed In My Life,” or the distorted mid-range of “Hoes.”

At the tail end of 2016, Gettoblaster gave the world a proper education in house with the release of their second album Chi Til I Die. A quick glance at the tracklist would be enough to make any house head green with envy, featuring living legends such as Steve “Silk” Hurley and Marshall Jefferson. Created in the likeness of Chicago house, Chi Til I Die brings a modern sensibility made emphatically unique by warehouse-ready grooves - a must for the late-night hours in the underground.

Having a steady wave of 2018 releases, "Bounce Back," "Hustling For Horns," "I Don’t Care," and "Fine Day," along with a remix of Paul Johnson’s classic house track "Get Get Down," have found homes with labels including Psycho Disco!, Guesthouse and Afro Acid, all of which enthusiastically support the Gettoblaster movement. Even Mixmag, the world's biggest dance music and clubbing destination, champions their “tough, jackin' house sound.”

Gettoblaster has been on a roll in 2019, with notable releases on Dirtybird, Confession, Fantastic Voyage, Anabatic, Basement Leak along with an official remix to Khao, Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, YBN Namir & Tobius Tate’s “Done with Her”. They also performed at the mainstage at Spring Awakening in Chicago & the upcoming Dirtybird Campout in October.
The duo has shot up to being one of the most in-demand House Music artists in 2019.

Music has thrusted Gettoblaster into the thrilling scenes of Paris, Amsterdam, Poland and London, but they remain steadfast in their roots, paying homage to the sounds of Detroit techno and Chicago house at every turn of this crazy ride. Deep into their We Jack U.S. tour and on the brink of infiltrating the music festival circuit, Gettoblaster is about to be the name on everyone’s lips.

So, what are you waiting for? Turn that Gettoblaster on and put that booty to work.
