Franky Nuts aka Frank Notenboom is a Producer/DJ from Holland, Roosendaal.
He’s well known in the Dubstep scene, he also produces Drum & Bass as well as Electro and Rave, and is active in other related music genres.
He got signed to Rub a Duck, the more dubstep-oriented sub-label from Black Hole Recordings.
His first contribution to the label was a remix for Dunugoz vs. Tha Roofas - Anita's Theme, an electro track which appeared on Black Hole's Snow Dance 001(2CD), with names like: David Guetta, Ed Rush & Optical, Ferry Corsten, The Freestylers and more.
After the first release he teamed up with Azzeration on a remix of ''Over You'' by the Freestylers, which got released on Rub A Duck together with other remixes. This release hit the front page of iTunes UK for a couple of days. Next to that, the track was also released on the Rub A Duck Presents Dubstep's Finest CD and Ibiza Music 2012.
He released his “Go Nuts EP” on Black Hole Recordings: Rub a Duck 27 Aug 2012.
With tracks as: “Animal”, “Feels Like Yesterday” en “Bang Like This”.
“Bang Like This” became nr 6 on the ”10 must hear Dubstep tracks at Beatport week 35”.
and became the nr. 50 in de “Dubstep Tracks top 100”@Beatport.
The “Go Nuts EP” became 35th of the “Top 100 Dubstep Albums” on Beatport.
In 2013 he Signed to the Subway Agency.
He has shared decks with artists such as:
Hatcha, Funtcase, Black Sun Empire, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Audio, The Freestylers, Chef, Counterstrike, a B2B session with Boy Kid Cloud, Sinister Souls etc.
Franky Nuts and Azzeration also organize indoor and outdoor Events called Kill The DJ. Started in 2011, their event Kill The DJ has hosted artists such as Subscape, Eptic, Nobody Beats the Drum, Boemklatsch, Lifecycle, NoizBoiz, Curifex, etc.
